Tomorrow is not promised
Sometimes in life we take things and the people closest to us for granted (not intentionally), but today my brother loss a close friend of his that he just saw and talked to yesterday. His heart and spirit is broken and this got me to thinking that I sometimes take things and people for granted, not that I do not appreciate the people I love but I have to admit that I am guilty of thinking that some people are suppose to do certain things for me and my feelings, wants and needs should always be taken into account (Like I am a golden child or something...NOT!). I am at a point where I want to be considerate and conscious of how I treat people and really show them that I love and appreciate them.
We are all special in God's eyes and he put us here to love and care for one another, not take each other for granted. Sometimes we do not appreciate things or people until they are gone and I am at fault of this as well. Sometimes I find myself huffing and puffing when I am asked to do a favor for someone or complaining about things for no dang reason other then hearing myself speak. Life is not promised for any of us from one moment to the next, so I vow from this moment on to be more conscious of my actions, the words I speak and the energy that I put out into the universe. If I find myself taking people, things and situations for granted then I will shift gears and make a better effort to check myself and change my attitude. God is love and if we are apart of God than we are love as well, it's time to take responsibility for ourselves and recognize are own faults and appreciate the little things in life and the people we love and care about.
